this entire post is full of some of my favorite Sarah Dessen quotes.
I like so many that I picked one from each one of her books.

"There is never a time or place for true love. It happens accidentally,
in a heartbeat, in a single flashing, throbbing moment."
~ the Truth About Forever.

"Everyone has their weak spot. The one thing that, despite your best efforts,
will always bring you to your knees, regardless of how strong you are otherwise."
~ Lock and Key.

"Holding people away from you, and denying yourself love, that doesn't make you strong. If anything, it makes you weaker. Because you're doing it out of fear."
~ This Lullaby.

"It's so easy to get caught up in what people expect of you.
Sometimes, you can just lose yourself."
~ Dreamland.

"You can't just turn your heart off like a faucet; you have to go
to the source and dry it out, drop by drop."
~ Someone Like You.

"Like a word on a page that you’ve printed and read a million times, that suddenly
looks strange or wrong, foreign. And you feel scared for a second,
like you’ve lost something, even if you’re not sure what it is."
~ Just Listen.

"You couldn't just pick and choose at will when someone depended on you,
or loved you. It wasn't like a light switch, easy to turn on or off.
If you were in, you were in. Out, you were out."
~ Along For the Ride.

"You should never be surprised when someone treats you with respect, you should expect it."
~ Keeping the Moon.

"Everything looks different when you're older, not staring up at the world but down upon it."
~ That Summer.

  2. they are so good. sometimes a little slow in the beginning, but they're really good. there's a movie for 2 of them. they merged 2 of her books, That Summer & Someone Like You, into a movie, How to Deal. Mandy Moore is in it. it's actually really good. she has a new book coming out soon, What Happen to Goodbye, it sounds reallly good. :)
